Mill and lathe are nice looking machines. Seem pretty well cared for considering it's government.
 
wow, that website is terrible. I don't know why government website are so terrible (I mean... I do know why, but I wish it weren't so).

But the lathe is pretty at least...
 
I happen to know they were $7500 new in Mar-2017 with 2 chucks & 2-axis DRO installed, but have no idea what they go for now.
 
Yep, its not cheap! Prices are going up - even simple stuff like electrical cable tripled in price in the last two years.

Yup, I was on that auction and threw my bid in as well. I had a feeling it would go up to 5k which is still not bad when you look at comparables on the market. Wasn’t willing to go that high on a Chinese lathe though. British/US or Taiwan for sure.
