... @Tom O Wasn't your lathe a microcut you bought from John Sebastian? I think he was asking 3000$ with an extra chuck.

Mine is a 1440 that I paid $6000. For it came with 3/4 jaw, 5c collet chuck and backplate I belive there was an extra chuck.
