So wait, someone got it at auction and is reselling it? Did he buy it at auction for 2000?

This is very strange - when you buy at auction you usually... not resell till you get it home.

I have a feeling he bought this for MORE than 2000 and discovered something and now wants to sell it for less so it goes in the next 5 days.

The price is excellent, but this thing has a lot of red tape one needs to process.

Is the issue 575v? Motor swaps are not a big deal for the right $$$.

If the machine was discovered to be in say great shape this is a very good price.

My read on this (and it could be entirely incorrect) is that he bought it at a reasonable price for the tool post & holders &, rather than deal w/ the PITA moving process, he's trying to get his money back & flog it at the auction site all at the same time.

Yeah but this is super risky move - he better be setup to move the lathe in case no one buys it in the next 5 days.

Yeah I see a nice tool holder there. Same one as on my big lathe.
