Weeelllll.... You see the problem with that mill is that instead of a ram that goes in and out, it is in a cradle, that only tilts sideways, both directions. Very sturdy. Very strong. Just don't ned to use a tap handle longer than 4.5 inches. Ask me how I know!I think that's about as close to a Bridgeport as you can get without looking like a Bridgeport!
That looks more like the smaller 6x26 milling machines. I have one and that looks very similar to mine. The 8x30 usually had a larger case iron base that went to the floor.Yeah, looks like one of these. If it is, it’s a smoking deal. Cruise Director has mandated this years fiscal surplus be used to install central air conditioning, so no new big-$$$$ toys this year.

I cannot say for sure - mine was an early model, the B048, with a 32" table that actualy clamped out to 33" and 22" travel in X. A great hobby mill if you don't do manual tapping.That looks more like the smaller 6x26 milling machines.
