Wait, was there another GRIP lathe - supposedly "never used" for sale recently at some ridiculous price like 12,000?
I found grip for sale - new by a dealer for I think 12500 cad. But this was HD model.

I am guessing this is not HD and is similar to King 14x40 - which is new for 9000 CAD.

Used for $5500 this is an OK deal! Unless its trashed. If gently used I would buy it - if I needed one. Maybe talk them down to $5000. It would then be half price of king with taxes in BC.

16 speed, 3hp, 5500 seems like a decent deal if it's not wrecked

Definitely a good price, worth a look. Sad it wasn't in Toronto And available just before a I bought my new one (slightly smaller).
