Good deal on Bondhus hex key sets

Jezz John, at $16 for both Metric and Imperial, that's an awesome deal.

I like to keep all the individual wrenches I need for a particular machine near the machine itself so I don't have to go looking for them. I always know right where each one is.

At that price, I could get 2 sets and have all the individual wrenches I'd ever need right handy, and not have to have any partial sets in the tool drawer.

Nice find!

I have a full set of SAE & metric t-handles, but I like to have extras of machine specific wrenches along side the machines, too. I don't want to wear out one tool & void the set because I use it often.

I have many sets of those in ball ends, as I prefer them over flat, but you can't argue that price. Great deal.
i do to....but....have you ever tried to hold to a screw on the end of one as you reach into a recess? Happened today, frustrating with the ball end so bought a bunch of sets when I saw John's post. lol any excuse for more tools.

Can't have a enough key sets. My "shop" is now spread accross the garage and 3 basement rooms. I have key sets within reach everywhere, and its easy to add more at that great price

Ya, there's a time and place for flat ends for sure. I do have a few crappy sets of flat ends, but no good ones. All my good ones are balls. I've got a set of long tee handles that are great for those situations too. I usually remember I have them after the 3rd or 4th time I drop a screw trying to get it started in some awkward place lol.

At home I've got a set at the lathe, and one at the mill, both metric and imp, even though I can almost touch both machines at the same time. A couple sets downstairs on my workbench too, and another one back in the barn. About 3 sets at work, with a bunch of stubbies and modified ones plus a drawer full of loosies, in both locations too. They breed.

Well Wiha has your back with their wallet burning 'magic ring' style. They do work. I have a single wrench specifically for fishing a 6-32 cap screw in & out of RC model with very tight cowl constraints. After one has exhausted all the handy dandy home remedies (magnetized tip, silicone tubing sheath, hemostats, chewing gum...) it time to wave the white flag. Rattling bolts & loose engines end up costing way more LOL

I like to have both kinds and do. I use the regular ones when I can and reserve the ball end ones for those tight access times I really need them.

Basically, I don't want to wear the wrenches out or ruin a screw needlessly. Nothing beats contact area when you have to deal with a fastener that doesn't want to let go.

For this purchase, the wrenches need to be regular ends because all the fasteners on my machines are easily accessed.

Perfect.

Another tool I've never heard of or seen before. Lotta $ but as you say, a loose or lost screw can cost way more.

Very nice Peter.

For $146 for allen keys, I'd expect that someone with a heavy German accent would come and install the screws! Seems like a good idea though.

Oh man, you have no idea how much better I feel about myself now.... Lol.
All of the above, plus one cute little Atlas lathe has found its way upstairs to decorate my office....
Lathe in the office is a good one, you get the gold coloured membership card for that. I've got some model engines in the den, but not even I, die hard cavemen, has the nerve to bring machine a tool onto the main floor.
