Classic case of the size and the age, combining to REALLY limit the number of folks that are actually interested, IMO. Too big for an average hobby guy, too old to interest a shop or Machine Tool Dealer, so the bidding population is pretty small.

Dunno what the population around there is like for Farmers with big on-farm shops, but can't imagine it's anything like out in the Prairies. I kinda figure that's one of the few niches that machine actually seems like a decent fit for.
