I still drill mine by hand with a brace and auger bit.....

Inherited several drills, both Eggbeater style, and Braces, and revived several that were derelict, here on the farm. Got a lot of use from them, and gained a deep appreciation for a decent working tool, that doesn't come with a side order of tinnitus!

Used to really annoy some of my co-workers, when after they went and rounded up the air compressor, hoses, and a generator, they discovered that I had already finished the job, using an Eggbeater drill to remove the rivets that held the part that needed to be replaced, and used a lever driven rivet squeeze to re-install them...

A fella has to be at least ten percent smarter than the tools he's using, eh? :P

Despite the best efforts, the "lowest common denominator" wins through!

Not allowed to hit the stupid with sticks these days. So, it's duct tape and a drop-off at the Train Station that deals with it!
