Sadly this home shop machine is located in Ontario. Machine is only about 5000 lbs max and is small & has modest power needs.

Easy basement install for sure.

Clicked on the add for giggles and shits surprised it was actually free, and not another “free” or 1$ marketplace add with a different price below.

I’m sure there is a good reason it’s free.

Scrap not worth the cost of having it moved I’m guessing.

Pissed off spouse? Partner gone deer hunting?

The old fanuc control with license is worth the transport. 3500 km is too far for project 4001 on my list!

Even as scrap its 600 CAD - as Dabbler pointed out if control works its quite a find. More importantly one could get used up lathe in Calgary for scrap price but these usually have 25 hp motor and are like 12000 lbs. They are huge.

If spindle could be rebuild cheap as in say 3000 CAD suddenly you have a hobbyist sized CNC that is a real machine! Worth suddenly like 15000 or more.
