For Sale: 10" Royal metal shaper, $500, Vernon BC!

I don't know much more about it, so can't really answer deeper questions - for sale as is!

Needs to be picked up from the Vernon, BC area - be aware that this beautiful beast is ~600lbs. We've managed to get it onto a pallet on the side of a driveway.
Willing to negotiate, as I'd rather this go to someone who will appreciate and use it.
I haven't posted this anywhere else yet, as I wanted to give this forum first dibs.

It's already on a skid. Call Manitoulin for an LTL quote, you might be surprised at the cost.

You may be surprised indeed. I got a great quote on shipping from the peg for a transformer, and when I briefly considered a chipmaster lathe from the UK I was quoted less than $300 for LCL crated or palleted lathe of 1200 pounds. The longer you can wait for an item you can sometimes get a better price.

The real question is can @blitz safely palletize this item with steel strapping so it is safe for pick up, can shipper get it with lift gate truck or is it too large dimensionally

I have a steel strap bander at work...it wouldn't take much to cut off four lengths of banding, the tool and some clips...
I'm in Rutland Blitz
It'd be a quick jaunt to come n help you lock that sucker down to the skid...

It seems old trucks sometimes have similar traits, although, mine are generally self inflicted.
