And on top of that its a Slant bed lathe, very interesting....first time ever seeing something like that.

Me too. I didn't say anything about it when I saw it though. I figured my eyes were playing tricks on me.

Gotta wonder how well that works over time with all the forces on funny angles though. I'd expect some very different wear patterns and some potential alignment issues.

Can you just picture all those users who think levelling is just levelling trying to level that lathe? Not to mention all the debate on here!

You should buy it just so we can all have some fun .....

Now that's kind of neat! Yes could be very interesting levelling. My 1340 has the angled ways at different heights, so need blocks to lay on the flat ways when cross levelling to lift level above angled ways. 1.2,3, blocks to the rescue, which reminds me ,time to recheck the level in case a little settleing has happened.
The couple of crank grinders I have run had angled beds. A pain. Anyone seen a Dummund? round bed lathe, or levelled one?? In real life.

Its one I would consider but I already have a New Lathe.

Depending on the bearing surface configuration I could see this wearing considerable less as almost on of the down forces would be applied to both ways almost equally compare to a regular set up.

What's with the attitude!? I just checked again and it still shows available.

Try to look in incognito window in your browser. I wanted to see the lathe type but ads are gone. You may be seeing cached version of the page.

Actually I see it on the app, which access directly without the browser.

I had these type of issues when I was selling stuff, thru the browser my stuff disappeared and on the app it was visible. It wasn't until I paid a premium for the listing remain among the top did it stay visible. Additional items that are sold and clicked on do list as this item no longer exists in the app.
