Any who have seen my recent offers probably recognize that I am trying to save my children the chore of disposing of my stuff. On offer today is a very well equipped Derbyshire 10mm instrument makers lathe with all the chucks and collets that make for a useful tool. I expect I could get more on US eBay and US exchange, but I really don't want to pack and ship it.
So, offering it here for $3000. The drive is a lovely Bodine variable speed, reversible motor. There is a microscope with cross hairs and a graduated traveling stage (mm) and a cheap digital indicator for working in inches. Lever operated headstock collet closer. Lever feed collet holding tailstock. Triple slide cross slide with six holder quick change toolpost.
Collets and more collets. Main set has suffered cosmetically from poor storage by previous owner. These are all Derbyshire, but there are other collets by Levin and Clement. 3 jaw chuck, 4 jaw chuck, tailstock Jacobs chuck, live centers, dead center, etc, etc, picks show the range. The tailstock in pic 2136 is unusual, spring loaded center, and is adjustable across and vertically (up the sliding ramp). Pic 2139 shows a indicator that I used to measure the movement of the tailstock ram when I wanted to drill to a specific depth. It has a 50mm center height as opposed to the lathe 60 mm height so it can contact the drawbar knob of the the tailstock rather than the center hole. 10mm buttress thread tap in case you need to make a different drawbar. Last pic is the vernier for the microscope stage. Glad to answer any questions.
