Craftex Ct-039 on Calgary kijiji, price now at 1800

The Craftex lathe in this ad has dropped from ~2500 last week to 2000, and now 1800.

I'm really new to metalworking equipment, and Im not entirely sure if the Ct-039 is an ok starter lathe or not, but thought I'd post it here to see if anyone might think its a decent deal. EDIT; to be clear, I am in no way associated with teh seller.

I'd say that is a pretty darn good starter lathe. While wouldn't call that a deal, I think that is probably about market price.

It is about roughly right price point if in good shape. But has to be in good shape. It is a small light lathe but much better then say a mini lathe - better then 7x14 etc. Deal would be 1500 or so in good condition.
