I think it's a 15" Swing not 7.5. Doesn't look like they doubled the distance for OD.

Being a Colchester, I guess they followed the British format for sizing lathes.

Correct, they half the USA spec...a SouthBend clone is 4.5"

I'm in Sudbury and ya it's a major road trip about 5-6 hours on a good day
