Nice! Old but looks well cared for considering it's age. Love to see it in person.

Can a threading gear (or even a threading dial) really skip and get out of sync? I suspect owner doesn't know what he is talking about on that one....... Ya, if it skips during a job its a huge start over or pickup the thread kind of problem. But getting permanently out of sync doesn't fit my understanding at all.

That's the same model Clausing I have except that's a longer bed and drive clutch which makes it a later edition.
