I have an earlier version of one of these, an 80 amp model that I've used exclusively for aluminum. Worked great for me.

Kristian Electric does some service on these. AFAIK they haven't been imported in quite a while. They even offer a conversion kit to use Lincoln consumables for it.

Price isn't bad, either if it makes a spark.
