Anybody want a project?
-It's been out in the weather.
-There's some corrosion on the ways. Some X & Y movement. None on the knee.
-Table is pitted & needs resurfacing. Two T nut slots have small broken areas on far right of table.
-550 volt. 1960 model. I think it's a 1D or 1E.
-The spindle was seized but the top nut has been cut off & is now moving some.
-Powered X
-The Acme screw for the Y movement appears to be bent some. Also, the outer arm of the nut is broken and somebody attempted to braze it.
-Bill is negotiable on the price.

Might be interested, have any pictures other then electrics? I am delivering a bike to Kamloops, and a day or 2 of visiting this week. Be next week before I can do much more then think about it.
Yes I have been out in the weather some too, still movement in the knees though, LOL.

I looked at it yesterday, never took any additional pics. Bill would probably take some for you, he was very accommodating. I was considering it, but just too big of a project for me at this time. The head, ram & base are separated right now. It's a massive machine.

Hmm, a bit more room needed for moving, but lighter to load, unload. Table and knee still on the base? Haven't got hold of Bill yet.

This all 100% depends on what is the shape of stuff NOT on the pictures, such as, how bad is the head?

How bad is the table, the knee etc?

If all is decent then its just electrical?

That is not a big deal for the price.
