I only use it for market place, and the odd groups anymore. Deleted/blocked all the crazy. I find market place to be better than kijiji these days. Certainly less ads than kijiji. Does anybody else find it to be really annoying now?

So what happened? It must have been amazing! How many commercials will I watch if I watch it to the end? Why is there a half-naked young woman in the preview picture?

What do you mean nothing happens. I can't believe it. And no pretty girl anywhere in the video. Another 5 minutes of my life wasted.

give Brave a try, best browser there is, no ads on kijiji, utube etc. I wish everyone would drop FB market place....its a pita having to check two places. i look but won't list there.

I hate Facebook. But marketplace is a must for farm equipment. I think the majority of farmers don't use a computer. But their wife or daughter uses Facebook. So they get the wife or daughter or son to post their stuff. If you want good deals on farm stuff you better be using marketplace. If it were not for that, I'd NEVER use it.

Thanks, I downloaded it to give it a try, sounds promising. Just not in the mood to reset all my passwords to all the sites I visit, because I can't remember them anymore. Might be a while before I give it a try.

The only thing I really hate about market place is the search engine. If I'm searching for a specific thing, it brings up a whole bunch of other stuff I "might" be interested in. Like Beach toolboxes for example. I'm not interested in cottage rentals with a sandy beach, I'm looking for a specific thing and don't want to wade through 3 pages of crap to find it. Boolean search modifiers seemingly do nothing. There are a few things I DO like though. When it brings up things outside of my search area is handy sometimes. Some things I'm not willing to drive very far to get, others I will. It's a hassle to change the search radius all the time. Sometimes I don't even know I'm up for a road trip to get something after work, until I find something for a good deal up in Bancroft, and wind up getting home at 10pm lol.

More people seem to use it though, as there are more Beach toolboxes listed on market place, than on Kijiji in Ontario. It's just that I have to wade through 250 other ads about semi related crap to find them.
