I must be denser than usual tonight. I have read that ad three times and still have no clue how that works.

Pretty sure that the boring bar is held in that middle piece, and you use the table to manually "broach" the work piece....

Makes sense, but holy crap..... Doesn't sound like anything I'd be wanting to do!

This last picture in the ad shows that you attach the tool to the vertical column V-ways, insert the broaching tool, set-up your part to be broached on the table and feed with the Y-axis to get the cutting action.

I think it could actually be quite a rigid set-up. Lots of cranking though…
