There is an RF-30 style round column mill in an auction closing in 4.5 days. Current bid $170 (plus 10% buyers premium and HST).

It is a B1977 model, the same as mine. The machine at auction has a vice, a few collets and tools but no DRO or power feed. No obvious damage. As delivered, they require a 15 amp, 240 volt circuit.

Round column, belt-change machines come with a particular set of features and problems but I'm largely happy with mine.

Note that this particular model weighs nearly 600 pounds whereas many other RF-30 machines are just about 500.

Given that it is located north of Lake Scugog, it is possible that the final price may be a little more wallet-friendly. ;)

I have the same one. Its worth it if a person is close enough to drive for it. It comes apart easily and the parts can be carried by two people. Me and my wife have moved mine twice now.

Given the location I know the dealer who will buy this. Unless I do.

Of course I have no vehicle to pick it up any more, so I'd have to rent one...

But with everyone else turning these into cnc mills I feel left out
