This one looks interesting. I don’t know much about the really old Colchester… but one of you guys in sask might as well get this thing.

I decided when I get a different lathe I just want a newer one that doesn’t need anything. This one might need some work, and one of you more distinguished older gentlemen might want this thing, or it might be the best deal of my life that I’m missing out on, but I don’t know.

One of you Colchester knowing guys should have a look at this ad…. Maybe @Dabbler or @TorontoBuilder

Its a decent lathe. At that price if you can move it I can't see you going wrong.

I mean owned by the city of Moose Jaw, how much use could it even have seen?

There are really good support groups for Colchester lathes too.

Looks a lot like my lathe. Mine has 2 swing out drawers on the tail stock pedestal, but all the headstock controls are the same.

I must say, if you have to go pick up a lathe, it's nice to do so on a hwy where you only have two curves at Belle Plaine and ten miles of unlimited visibility on the hwy.
