A rare desk anvil for armchair engineers and blacksmiths! Looks to weigh about a 1/4 stone; probably worth more as scrap than an A.S.O.

I use one of these all the time. It sits on the table of my hydraulic press. Great for work when I don’t feel like moving the table but the ram is too far away from the workpiece. Upside down, the mounting slots make it perfect for holding bearings for installation / removal.

I have one that size (or smaller) that I use a lot vs. hammering away on my welding table. surprisingly useful for small bearings etc. Good companion to the 1-ton arbor press.
