Another runner - Howell V-Twin

Happy with how the latest shop project turned out. It's a 32cc 90 degree V-Twin to a design by Jerry Howell, a well known model builder and designer. Although Jerry is no longer with us, his son still makes the collection of drawings and hardware available.

It was a fun build to a very nice design. Rather busy under the mounting plate what with all the ancillary equipment!
Cheers
Charlie

Thanks everyone for the kind comments.

Craig - no I haven't checked the speed (my old Royal optical tachometer is out-of-service). I am pleased with how smooth it is throughout the range though. When the timing was too advanced to idle it hummed along at a frightening clip. Now that a better timing compromise has been found, the high end is likely about 3000 rpm.

that is a stunner. I'm gonna have to check this out twice...as the work PC I'm using doesn't have sound hooked up.
Any plan to install it in some kind of hobby car etc?
