If my shop had a taller ceiling I'd build a gantry as my engine hoist while useful is limited in its height capacity.

Make it telescoping vertically to fit inside your shop but also be useable outside the shop for loading and unloading a trailer. Is that beam wide enough to straddle a flatbed with some wide trailer wheels?

at 77"+/- it's not wide enough
