Advance RF-30 Mill/Drill Vernon BC Live auction Oct 30 2024

IF you live in BC interior there is an auction with a few potential deals going off tomorrow, but you need to be mindful of the 20% buyers premiums and taxes.

Why it may be a deal, this is a glass jar and bottle printing facility auction, may be under the radar for many people. IF you're into homebrewing you can buy beer bottles and growlers by the pallet load ;)

I'm pretty sure this item is mislabeled and is really a RF-30 not 60. Got a cnc project in your future?

Can't hurt to try...it's literally a half hr drive from my house

*EDIT*...I worked at this place years ago...it was called Universal Decorating at the time...the main contract was applying 24k gold paint to champagne bottles...the machines in there were pretty wild...
then there was the time a tipover caused a cascade INSIDE the oven...2 day process to shut down, let it cool, retrieve ALL the bottles from inside, and fire it back up...all because of a loose bracket or something...
I was laid off due to "poor co-worker attitude complaints"
when you strap a guy who's just spent his lunch break blazing up to a pallet of boxes and shrink wrap him to it...then put him up 20 feet in the air on a pallet rack...
I'm still not sorry for it...guy was being a lazy git on graveyards...and ALWAYS freakin high...I got fed up with it...

I worked at several places were coworkers got high or drunk, or both.

One place fired me for telling that coworker went on 3 hour lunch breaks to the strip club. They said what choice did he have, he was on weekend jail and house arrest after work hours for repeated drunk driving offenses and he made them money...

Another place that made cast faux marble vanities had every employee but myself doing acid all day. The owner never spent any time there and the supervisor was the drug supplier... I'd have loved to encase them all in marble tombs.

I hope you can snag this mill. I wish I could get the compressor they have, its perfect for sand blasting

oddly enough...Auctioneer has chosen not to publish the price of this lot
my max bid was only 300...and there weren't many watchers of it...
I should've went higher...but...I also didn't want to get caught up in potential buyers frenzy lol

they never post the sale price. It's so there are few informed buyers.

I watch items close and note the sale price when I'm interested. I missed the close of the compressor I liked but I saw the two scroll compressors sell for 250, and 150, and a air dryer for 100 bucks.

The first printer I liked sold for 450 IIRC, the second should have sold less, but I missed it.

I bet this sold for very affordable price
