8" x 30" R8 milling machine (Craftex CX603), $3750, Mount Forest, ON

Assuming this was on a pallet. Anyone venture a guess as to how much it would cost to ship this with a liftgate type truck to Ottawa.

No idea. But if it were me and I wanted it, I'd just go get it. Ottawa to Mount Forest is just a nice days drive there and back.

Guy has no idea about what he is selling. That's definitely not an 8 inch vise. It's prolly a 2" machinist or grinding vise. Might be a few other things with it too. Looks like one could negotiate a better price but that's just me speculating.

@slow-poke I saw this one this morning sadly its sold, is this like something you are looking for?
Someday I would like a smaller knee mill to replace my round column but no rush for me mine works fine for now.

I've seen some REALLY NICE bench top knee mills. One that jumps to top of mind is the Hardinge. If my space couldn't handle a full size knee mill, that would be top of my list. In fact, if one ever showed up at a really good price I'd buy it and sell my mill-drill in a heart beat.

I would like a 3/4 size knee mill, however the motor likely needs to be facing down like the CX603, (mill location has a low ceiling 78").

Is this the style you are referring to?

Actually the motor for that one is in the lower enclosure, so not really a bench top. Most of the true bench top seems quite small even compared to my LC-30
