8 Lathes and 2 Mills, simcoe, ON, Govdeals

Not sure if this counts as hobby metalworking...a lot of iron to move

6 Yunnan Lathes model L1640G
-2 Ann Yang Lathes model DY-410X750VS
-1 HH Roberts Mill model 5VK-GL-2
-1 Proline Mill model TY-201203-450

The equipment will be moved by the shop bay door where the purchaser can load onto the truck with a forklift.
It will be the responsibility of the purchaser to pay for the forklift and loading of the equipment and this will have to be coordinated over a 2 day period in coordination with the seller.

Q: Is this bid for the entire lot (6/21/23 12:53 PM)
A: Yes it is. We priced low because the space is required urgently. The successful bidder will also have to provide their own equipment to remove from inside bay door and load to their vehicle as the items are moved to the location (from another room) within a 2 day period. No assistance will be provided in loading the equipment. (6/21/23 1:15 PM)

getting rid of the trades,,, so sad.. next gen will not know manual machining,
True, but, trades cost a lot of money. SWMBO spent 35 years as a high school admin, doing budgets. A basketball program needs uniforms, basketballs, and a couple of dozen bus trips a year. Think about how much stuff gets worn out or broken in your shop, then scale that up for a couple of hundred teenagers using your shop. Do you have insurance? Want to guess how much liability insurance for a high school wood shop costs, when Little Johnny gets to run the machinery? Schools would love to have shops, they can’t afford them.
