They are very expensive especially if you have a lot holders in your inventory. New ones can be bought from Pewee Tools. they are supposed to be top notch copy of the originals.

I'd want to see where it was made, before I laid money down. Suspect it IS a Chinese clone. They get good reviews, but if I am paying retail, I may just as well buy from source!

Have seen some GREAT results from the genuine Multi-fix tool posts for repeatability. If this is the real thing, it's a pretty decent buy, IMO.

I guess I just assumed from its apparent age and appearance that it was a genuine multifix. But I confess that you make me doubt myself.
