Where do you see the holder + 5 indicator deal on the Canadian site?I have one of these and it's excellent. The difference between a Noga two-arm holder and an off-brand two-arm astounding.

That said the holder and five indicator deal is appealing. Though I have a slew of Lee Valley 1" INDICATORS.
Thoughts on a good all around holder fromt he site if you could only have one (or two)?

I have both and I use the two-arm Noga the most with a dial indicator and a cheap import single knob articulating with a DTI.Thanks! Shipping kinda kills any smaller buys but tempted to get a proper holder...
Do you prefer the "cross" style over a continuous articulated arm?
If you have any way to shop usps or something other than UPS do it.Also, seems to ship out from the US via UPS? Anyone experienced duties/taxes crossing the border?

But I may spring for an Noga so I have a matched pair. They are seriously that much better.

DG6160 is what is called a "two arm" right?I second that. But as I "indicated" above, I'd get the dual fine adjustments again in a heart beat. I missed out on another deal, so maybe I'll get another one of these to have a matched pair too.
$156 for a top notch holder like this is an amazing deal. Only the Fisso is better. And even that I'm not really sure of just yet.

You know ya wanna!I hope I never have the "misfortune" of trying out a Noga holder. I've only heard good things about them and all owners seem to love them. If I never try one out I can continue to think that all the Noga fan boys are somehow exaggerating their performance and/or just really really need top shelf stuff for their profession. And if I don't know better, I can be happy with my cheap junk.
I completely forgot about that as I've only ordered from Travers once.If you order from Travers Canada, any quoted shipping charges are ”all in”. It does not matter that the item actually comes from their US warehouse. Also, this is independent of who they use to get the item to you. I have never been charged “dinger fees” after the fact.
Same is true btw if you buy stuff from McMaster Carr. The price, including shipping, is what you pay. No additional charges after the fact.
Thanks for the info. Makes more sense now to just get it ordered to me here in GTA. Now to just decide which holder(s) ....If you order from Travers Canada, any quoted shipping charges are ”all in”.
