3D Printing Extruder

This is the extruder I bought about 10 years ago and mounted to my CNC router. I printed onto a glass plate with it but realized soon after that a heated bed was a requirement and eventually just bought a 3D printer. This one has the filament feeder as part of the assembly. The heater is under that red silicon insulating piece. Nozzle is 0.4mm.

Hmmmm. Good point since I'm building one. Be interesting to see how accurate the arm is with that.
