I use Resource Metals (resourcemetals.ca), located in Oakville. For roundbar, I can't find a better price. No affiliation. Just a good customer. Damn shame they're not open on weekends.

No, no minimums at all. In fact, they're having a 20-year anniversary raffle. For every as-is (off-cut or end-cut) you purchase, they'll give you a ticket into a raffle to win one of three prizes - $200 off your next purchase, $100 off your next purchase, and $20 off your next purchase.

I was on that side of town today so I dropped in. Really good selection of offcuts. The young woman behind the counter was friendly and pointed out where they store various materials. Wide range of alloys. Then she mentioned that there is more in the back (like cast iron) that won't fit on their shelves at the front! For sure, I'm going to give them a go the next time I need something.
