There are only a few pictures--all very poor--but apparently one can visit in person and inspect. No indication of the power requirements. Appears there are no chucks or other accessories included. Each one says:

24" In-between center - 18" Swing B.O. - 1.5" Spindal bore - 1000 RPM - ***Untested***

Located midway between Guelph and Burlington. 12% buyers premium plus HST.

At least the auctioneer didn't leave them out in the rain this time!

Bryan's auctions always seem to get heavy bidding.... I've watched many of them. That may be a function of their very effective advertising though. They're nice people, and they leave their past auction prices for people to see what prices are paid.

They had the Colchester Student we wanted...

I wonder if the chucks and stuff are in different lots?
There are almost 3,400 lots in the auction. Searching for "chuck" doesn't find anything. I browsed a couple of the categories but didn't spot any related tooling.

Bryans did the same in their trenton auction a few weeks back... they sold lathes with no accessories and no other lots had accessories. BUT when my brother and I went to preview that auction we saw a crate with assorted lathe accessories tossed in it that never got sold or put with the appropriate lathe likely because they just dont know.

The student lathe did have a few faceplates in the end compartment though.

Anyone wanting to buy one of these should preview and expect to need to find every piece of tooling they need elsewhere

The first one closed at $1,025 and, 20 minutes later, the second went for $1,600. If you look at the bidding history, the same 4 names were involved at the end of each auction.
