Easy to fall in love with the big iron, but with limited floor space, like less than 10,000 square feet. ( wink ). Do you use your shapers?

Actually shaper does not take that much space. It is now seen as "fun" thing to have. Once their number dropped and they became scarce *everyone* wants one.

Less than 10 years ago a 24in shaper was less than scrap - I know - I passed up one like that. Then few years ago I got a tiny 13" for 1500 (!)

Shapers are now hot b/c you cannot get more. I only expect shaper prices to go up. As smaller shaper prices went up, people looked at 20-24" shapers and said, come on, if I pay less for bigger I make space. This is why bigger shaper prices went up as well.

For some reason I can't view this one either and I have access to a Facebook account.
It's a listing in a Private Group - only members of the group can see the posts. I guess you'd already figured that out. Not surprising that people list things 'privately' since some people have found FB Marketplace to be "not the greatest". :)

Strangely I have noticed this trend stalling. Here in southern Ontario there are three 7” shapers for sale listed in the $900-1200 range that have been up for sale for at least a month. Usually rare bench top machines like that sell for a pretty penny.

This is ON, plenty of machines in recent times went for next to nothing.
