This one was very tempting for me, but just can't do it right now. somebody go get this beast.

Ya I thought so too, but I don't really know too much about them. Never really considered buying one, but after you showing me all the things you guys use yours for, and it's capabilities I've been keeping any eye out for one. No idea where I'd put it, but i'm sure it could live outside under a tarp for a while until I built a new shed for it lol.

Nice looking press!

Not sure I’d want a steel welding table. Yeah, easy to tack a fixture on it temporarily, but the plate is usually not flat, dingles stick too easily, rusts worse than cast iron (at least in my area).

Was lucky enough to get an old cast iron layout table from a friend’s shop closing. Weighs in at ~1400lbs for a 6’x3’ table. A few hours with my mag drill and voila, a welding table :-) I was looking for a small scrap HBM table to repurpose prior to buying the layout table.

On the other hand, I paid more for my table/pound than this guy is asking!
