Either I am going crazy or these are totally out of whack prices for a tiny machine -

Could you tell me if you have a steady rest and maybe a taper attachment for a my Standard Modern 1120 Lathe?

Welcome to the problem of 'google search', new members!

And yeah, I sold some SM steadies a few years ago, on Practical Macinist, told a guy he was in second place, and he got all pissy with me when the first place guy came through. It was pretty funny, at the time, and still, but it does show a level of desperation to get the particular parts, if at all possible. Like, seriously, the guy was crapping all over me three months later, for not notifying him that the deal actually went through, as if I would not have contacted him, if he was up!

And that, in a nutshell, is why the prices for those particular parts, are what they are!

Yeah, I'd pretty much lay a buck on it that the guy Google searched for the parts he needed, and found the original post, and joined just out of desperate hope!
