Weird. It is clearly marked CT043. The manual says that is a 12 X 36 lathe!

Reminds me of one of the 'rules' from the Old Woodworking Machines forum:

OWWM Rule No. 1: The seller, standing in front of the machine with access to all sides and in full daylight, will not/cannot describe the machine correctly.

Actually the manual is for a CT043N which is similar to the CX707, however the CT043 is different, note the feed selection handles 2 vs 4 on the CT043N. The second on the CT043 is the feed selection is levers vs knobs on the CT043. The third item is on the CT043 the case near the spindle speed selection is square vs the rounded on the CT043N.

So BB manual selection does not show the CT043 but a CT043N.

Hmmm, maybe the seller knows the machine better than you think and very likely a 10x36.

Reminds me of modern life's Rule Number 1, never trust anything you read on the internet. ;)
