    I think the diameter and pitch match. I have had others check two of us get the same but one of us thinks the threads do not match inside the nut. No others to compare. Yes the nut is rusty but we have cleaned and lubed it. Thanks for your help thus far.

    it was 45 Canadian dollars for a 3' lefthand thread 6TPI and 75 for the 6' length of the same. I am not sure shipping and handling not more than 200 for sure.

    Oh Darn! I must have lucked out or got my data wrong. I found from Canadian threadall acme 3/4 OD left hand thread 6threads per inch, regular mild steel. 6'
