Oh yes thows are my best two options , I'm thinking of going with the reliable steam 4 hp engine. I did find one other guy selling kits in Canada but the bigest one he sells is 1/2 hp https://www.cmodele.com/SteamEngines.html

Oh believe me that's in the plans too , I've been looking everywhere for plans or kits to make a 1 or 2 hp steam engine just to get my feet wet , and probably steamed burned

Definitely, I'm cleaning the years off of them , slapping a nice black dress on them and getting theys old gals back to work for another 100 years and boy do they look good while working

I am planing on giving it a try , just built a massive forge , 32 x 6.5 x6.5 opaning ribbon burner style, . Got some kinks to work out but hopefully within a year or two I want to do some metal casting , mostly bronze , brass , copper but I really want to try casting cast iron
