I’ve mentioned in other posts about my boring mill.
I am offering the use of it to the guys at canadianhobbymetalworkers.com .
If you have something too big for your mill, or an oddball setup. I am in Niagara so fairly close to a bunch of you guys
I don’t want to do the work, but would gladly help. I don’t really want someone who hasn’t been around large machinery obviously for safety reasons.
I don’t have a lot of room so nothing that would need to be set up for too long
Its an older mill, but it does hold a good tolerance, but if you are building something for NASA it probably isn’t for you.
I have a assortment of tooling , boring bars and set up blocks. The machine has about 5’ of X-Y travel and 36” of Z. It has a 3” spindle with 24” of travel. No DRO so you would have to use dials
PM me if you have a project.
Cheers Martin
