I have 1 new in box sheet of MB 2001 Model/Tooling prototype board. The piece is 24" X 60" X 2". It can be machined with practically no dust on any mill or saw. It is heavy and tough.
Density lbs/ft3 - 46.5
Hardness: 68D
Tensile strength: 3,800 lb/square inch
It is stable regardless of temperature and humidity.
It would make a great base for small lathes and milling machines also or a workbench tabletop.
$50.

A decade or so I would have been all over that. You CNC guys will hopefully recognize the material. You can mill very high quality molds & tooling fixtures like making composites or vacuum forming parts. It can also be joined with adhesive to make thicker slabs. This is spendy stuff.
