+ Pairs of parallels for milling machine, something close to 1/2"
+ Quality tap handle (Greenfield #4 or similar) about 9" long

Are you looking for 1/2" width or depth? For a standard parallel set you could try these.

Lots of videos on making tap handles if you have the machinery.

If you're wanting a decent GTD handle, look at old T&D sets on Kijiji or MP that have the handles in the set. They are way cheaper than buying the handles on ebay.

I have a full set of the thin parallels (similar to your image) as well as a set of 1/8" thick but only a few thicker ones that are about ~1/2" x 1" x 6", I could use a pair or two of something about 3/8 - 1/2" thick x 1" x 6"

I have multiple sets of parallels - I can sell one. they are 1/4 in. I am in Calgary so this may not work.

You can get 1/8 from Amazon.ca but for thicker stuff maybe eBay or local auctions are better.

Update Feb 12-2023:
- Starrett 91B handle should be here in a day or two so scratch that, although I might still take on a smaller one like a 91A
- Looking for a good quality 4" milling vise: Kurt, Tegara, Glacern, Homge etc. Prefer one that opens more than 4" like the Tegara

Update Feb 19-2023:
- Starrett 91B handle has arrived so scratch that.
- D40 4" Kurt milling vise is on the way so scratch that, might still consider a DX4. Tegara or Autowell that opens up to 6"

Calibration Spanner wrench for Mitutoyo 0-1" micrometer (no idea where it is after moving), someone might have a spare?
