Looking at replacing a 3L belt on a machine with a link belt. I figure I need a 3/8" link belt. Headed to Amazon to find they have a Type A and a Type Z. Not finding a lot of clear information about the differences.
@YotaBota That is a good reference, but I'm still missing some info on the Type Z.
My guess from going over Amazon a couple times more...... 3/8" is a Type Z? and Type A is a 1/2"? I hope that is correct. The one Amazon listing showed a Type Z as 1/2", but you needed to select the one you wanted. This threw me off.
Here is a link to the Powertwist site which gives a lot of information on link belts. I used these on a previous lath and found them to be quite good.
