Colchester Dominion Lathe 1962

Phaneron

Scott
I am selling my Colchester lathe with 13" swing and 24" between centers. It has a new 2HP motor that can be wired for single phase 120V or 240V operation. Currently it is wired for 240V operation. I wouldn't be selling this lathe, but I recently acquired my dream lathe through an opportunity I couldn't pass up. Everything is functional on the lathe as far as I am aware, although I have yet to log more than a few hours on it. The only quirks on the machine is that the quick change gearbox slowly leaks oil into the chip tray, and there is some damage to the chip tray on the front two corners. The lathe comes with original backsplash (not pictured) and the following tooling;

3 jaw chuck
Jacobs rubber-flex collet chuck (no collets)
Spindle nose nut wrench
Live Center
Drill chuck
Lantern style tool post

The lathe does not include the quick change tool post or tool holder and tool pictured.

The lathe can be seen under power. I am located in Calgary, Alberta. Buyer is responsible for moving lathe. I have a engine hoist that I can assist with loading at my end.

Asking $3200 for lathe and tooling

A Monarch 10EE is replacing this Colchester. I'm losing a bit of work volume with the change, but I don't think I'll miss it for most of my projects.
