    Early morning activities

Got a call about 1:45 to attend a birthing issue at the barn, 1 hour later we phone the vet, 2 very large feet and no head. Now just waiting for our vet to get down, hopefully not another c section. I used to be able to handle this type of problem but damn arthritis is not helping. Sucks to...

    Fire....Prepare for it.

Had a small repair to do to the loader frame of our main chore tractor, a crack in the main frame where a pin holds a lift arm on. Ground it out and had daughter hand me the mig, i'm sitting on the hood snuggled up to the windshield, felt my left foot getting warm. Told daughter to grab fire...

    ICE

Well i just had a fun trip to the barn to do the early morning check on the heifers. All that lovely rain we had yesterday has now frozen, turning my yard into a lovely skating rink. First order of business at daybreak will be to see if the gravel pile is loose enough to spread over the 200...

    Tool Brown & Sharpe caliper 599 572

Found this caliper coming up on an auction, model 599 572, it says in the descriptions that a B&S charger must be used. Not having any luck googling this model so thought i would ask the accumulated knowledge here about this particular model. Not much use without the charger if it's older model.

Where in hell did it go?

Dropped the bolt stop spring from a Rem 700 yesterday**#***. Hunted for that little bugger for 20 minutes, moving everything that might be hiding it, was using a strong light to help search. After a lot of fluffies, there it was right where i had been standing. How in hell did i not see it as i...
