Baddeck and the Alexander Graham Bell Museum is the highlight for the inventors out there. Lots of records and displays about his hydroplanes and speed tests on Bras de Or. Bell‘s original home sits on a hill overlooking the lake.

It is about a 3 hour hike from the parking lot near East Lake & #103 Hwy. The toughest is the last 100 yards where you have to climb the side of the rock plateau. Your reward is the view of the entire Aspotogan Penninsula.

Those Engineered Trusses are excellent, their laminated construction increases their cross-sectional modulus value for better load bearing applications. There is also better long-term protection from deterioration due to humidity and insects because of the inter layer bonding used.

You were lucky @RobinHood . When I was going through school we had to learn Imperial and Metric. The conversion calculator and factors were always in use (.03937” = 1 mm). And then they thru French in there as well as Dutch, German, Spanish, Norwegian, . . .

Be careful with those set screws. They can create concentrated stress points in the blade and lead to cracks. I would hate to hear about you guys on the news.

I hear ya Rick. Even a 1” Dual Carbide Insert leaves you with a much better finish for less than $65.

That is my exact machinist toolbox. 40 years old and I am still finding a use for it.
