I've always had driveshafts done at shops. A friend shortened his, shimmed it with beer cans and welded with 120V mig while I turned shaft. Didn't stand a chance or so I thought. Never had a problem with it. No vibration or sign of failure. Large V8 in small Rambler.

Thanks. Was going to order mt4 from Aliexpress but so many choices/different prices. I wonder if the no name $370 kit sold on Amazon.ca is same as $120 kit sold in China but with large profit margin... KMS had MT3 er40 set on sale if anyone was interested...

That's good info thanks. I used non detergent 30 weight and molyslip in mine, guess I should put the right stuff in. I see quite a few rf45 with power tapping, that would be fairly slow down feed? Mine was removed. Interesting stuff to me.
